Welcome to Shape Solver ("the App"), a geometry calculator application developed by Klára Novotná ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the App.

By downloading or using Shape Solver, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. Shape Solver is designed to be a fully local, offline tool. We have built the App from the ground up to respect your privacy by default: no account is required, no data is transmitted, and no analytics are embedded by us.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.
We do not collect location data.
We do not collect usage analytics or behavioral data.
We do not access your contacts, calendar, camera, microphone, or storage.
All calculations are processed locally on your device and are never sent to any server.

The App may store your most recent input values locally (using Android's SharedPreferences) as a convenience. This data never leaves your device.

3. How We Use Information

Because we do not collect personal information, we have no personal information to use. Any locally stored preferences are used solely to improve your in-app experience and can be cleared at any time via your Android settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Shape Solver is distributed through the Google Play Store. When you download the App, Google may collect certain information as part of their distribution platform. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not ours.

We do not embed any third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, etc.) in the App. We do not serve advertisements within the App.

Note: If you submit a review or report through Google Play, that information is handled by Google according to their terms.

6. Children's Privacy

Shape Solver is designed as an educational tool suitable for all ages, including children. Because we do not collect any personal data, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data at risk on our servers. Any data stored locally on your device is protected by Android's sandboxed storage. We encourage you to keep your device updated and protected with a secure lock screen.

8. Your Rights

Since we collect no personal data, data subject rights under GDPR or similar laws are largely not applicable. However, you can:

Clear local app data via Android Settings → Apps → Shape Solver → Storage → Clear Data.
Uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored data.
Contact us with any privacy questions or concerns.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
